1. What innovation.net is - and isn't
innovation.net is a software platform that aggregates publicly available information about government grants, tax incentives and funding programs, estimates eligibility, and assists in drafting applications. We are a technology-enabled information service.
We are not a law firm, accounting firm, registered tax agent, or financial adviser. Nothing on the platform - including funding estimates, success rates, eligibility indications, and AI-drafted documents - constitutes financial, tax, legal, or professional advice. You are responsible for verifying eligibility and all submitted content against official program sources.
2. Estimates and success rates
Funding estimates are computed from the information you provide against published program criteria and are indicative only. Success rates are shown only where derivable from published program statistics, with the basis stated. Actual outcomes depend on factors outside our control, and we make no guarantee of funding outcomes of any kind.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Match Pro is billed monthly or annually via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Application Builder purchases are one-time, per application, and grant export rights for that application. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated.
4. Expert marketplace
When you request expert matching, you consent to your submitted details being shared with up to three vetted experts. Experts are independent professionals, not our employees or agents; any engagement is directly between you and the expert, and we are not a party to that engagement.
5. Acceptable use
You must not scrape the platform, resell data without an API licence, submit fraudulent information in applications, or use AI-drafted material to misrepresent your business to any government body.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding a claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
